Timbertop Conference Centre opened in September 2008 and is Australia’s newest Conference Centre. It is nestled amongst the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges and located only 5 minutes from the gateway to the Yarra Valley. Set on a rustic 20 acre site in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne, and conveniently only 45 minutes from the CBD and easily accessible from major freeways.

Timbertop is owned by the Jim’s Group, Australia’s largest franchise network, and is used as its world wide training centre. This unique venue is ideal for any occasion, from one day training seminars to overnight conferences. We are also available to cater for special functions, banquets, engagements and weddings.

This purpose built venue offers stylish accommodation with modern training facilities unlike any other venue in the Yarra Valley. We have 5 fully air conditioned conference rooms and a fully equipped computer room with 30 networked PC’s. Each room has its own style to suit your individual needs and every conference room is supplied with notepads, pens, water and mints. Each room has its own separate tea and coffee station.

We have two sizeable lecture theatres, one with 80 seats and the other with 190 seats and our Restaurant can accommodate groups of up to 200 cocktail or banquet style.

This unique venue is ideal for any occasion, from one day training seminars to overnight conferences. We are also available to cater for special birthday parties, engagements and dinner events.

Our reception area is perfect for a relaxing drink by the fire with modern facilities. The bar area is separate from the function room so provides a quiet area for guests to relax and enjoy a wine or a cappuccino.
